fixing zetor 3320 brakes!

Hey everyone, my buddy's got a Zetor 3320 with a brake problem, and we're pretty new to working on tractors.

the clutch stopped working because the shared reservoir was empty. After refilling and bleeding, the clutch is fine, but now his left brake pedal has no resistance, even after trying to bleed it.

He sometimes hears a "squishy" sound from the master cylinder area.

Since the reservoir was completely dry, something's clearly wrong. Can anyone help us diagnose and fix this brake issue? We'd really appreciate any help!

It seems like there might still be some air trapped in the system, or possibly the master cylinder is malfunctioning. If the left pedal isn't holding pressure and you're hearing those squishy noises, it's likely that the master cylinder is leaking internally.

Have you tried bleeding the system with pressure or vacuum yet? Zetors can be tricky when it comes to air pockets. Also, double-check that both bleed screws on the axle are clear.

If you're still not getting a firm pedal, it might be time to consider that the master cylinder is faulty.

The pedal is squishy and he has abosolutely no brakes or the brakes are somewhat working, but not as they should?

I had something like that happen on my friend's old Zetor 5245. The clutch bled okay, but one brake was still soft and made a squishing sound. It turned out the master cylinder seal was bad. Replacing the cylinder fixed it right up. You might want to check yours for leaks inside as well.

I'd recommend thoroughly bleeding the brakes again, making sure no air is trapped and inspecting the master cylinder for damage. If bleeding dont fix it, the master cylinder might need a rebuild or replacement. Taking it slow and patient with bleeding usually does the trick
