Hooking up the clutch safety pedal

I recently got my hands on an 85 6011 but there's one thing, the clutch safety switch isn't hooked up to the clutch pedal, the last owner just held it manually while starting. I want to hook it up properly but can't figure out how.

Anyone here knows how to do it? please help!

Check if the switch is still mounted near the clutch pedal, there should be a tab on the pedal arm that presses the plunger when the clutch is fully down, if not you'll need to fab a small bracket or weld something in place

Bypassing safety switches like that isn't always a bad thing, some old tractors are safer without extra interlocks that fail more often than they help. But if you're set on fixing it, do you have a wiring diagram?

Check for the original mounting point. If the tab is gone, you can typically fix it with a small welded stop or bracket. A simple continuity test can verify its function before you start rewiring

I think it's best to fix it the right way on an old 6011, especially if more than one person might run it. Once you see how that switch is supposed to get tripped, it’s usually a pretty simple bracket or stop to make it work again.

Check near the clutch pedal pivot for the original switch mount or actuator tab. Most are simple plunger switches that engage at full pedal travel. If missing, replace with OEM-style switch matched to that linkage.
