Okay so i own the Zetor 5211 and it has a mechanical clutch that i want to make pedal adjustments. I've tried looking online but i couldn't find anything specific. Can anyone help with ideas?
Oh man been there. Had my old Zetor acting like it was training for a leg day at the gym, pedal felt way off. You might wanna check the clutch linkage and free play adjustment first. Some folks say giving the pedal about 10-15mm of free play helps keep it smooth.
If it's still acting up, could be worth looking at the clutch housing and splines (sometimes they get gunked up and make things weird). What's it doing too stiff or too loose?
That's good advice on the free play. Also check the clutch release bearing, if it's worn it can make the pedal feel inconsistent. Grease all pivot points in the linkage while you're at it.
Hey @ToxicHeart, definitely start with the free play like @Bibim-Bob36 said. Make sure the pedal has some wiggle room before checking the release bearing.
